CONVERT PROSPECTS to enquiries on your website home page. Miles Fryer gives website reviews very often and today it is for 2buy2let on the big screen. How to get the most impact from your homepage… what is great and what could improve on YOUR website. 2Buy2Let is a strong and vibrant brand and Andy want to build the brand to a standard where people are drawn to it with the trust it can embody at every touchpoint.
I have been asked to review this website because Andy is expecting a lot more from it than he is getting. Is your website like that? Perhaps you are not sure what it should bring in return for all your investment, effort, time and resources. Well sometimes it can be the simplest things that make a difference as you will see from this review. Of course those simple things mount up and can affect the overall interpretation of the website as a whole.
What is great about this website is that it does not ask the viewer to make a decision to take action for a vast array of options. It is clean and gives good direction… as you will see from the video that while the branding is good there are a few elements to improve upon that will dramatically change the viewers’ perception. The tipping point between making a decision to stick around is so slight that it is only noticeable when you realize the website is not speaking to your target audience as it might… and that is only obvious when the phone is not ringing and the contact form is not being filled.
2Buy2Let has a really great video, but the first thing I noticed was that I would have to wait about 10 seconds into the video before seeing why this was such a fantastic system for getting people on the property ladder. If some of those messages could be put on the opening freeze frame you see paused on the home page, so many more people would be clicking onto it and getting a feel for the brand.
Take a look at the video on the big screen and let me know your thoughts… how also might this help your business? If you have a question about your website or would like a review to see how well your brand speaks to the world, please do comment below and I will come back to you as soon as possible.
